Jo Motoyo has been selected as one of the juries at Spikes Asia 2022.
Spikes Asia has announced the full jury line-up for 2022 and our up-and-coming director, Jo Motoyo(TOKYO) has the honor of being selected as one of the juries of the Film Craft category.
「Spikes Asia」is APAC's most prestigious creative communications awards. Usually the festival is held in Singapore but this year it will be shifted to an online awards.
Led by Sneha Iype, Partner / Executive Producer of Nirvana Films as the president, 6 members from 6 countries, including Jo, will judge the Film Craft category.

＜Jo Motoyo Profile＞
Jo has been represented as a director by TOKYO since 2015, also spending a year at Wieden+Kennedy as a copywriter. Her recent short film “Midnight” won the Short Film Silver award at Young Director Award 2019 and Adfest 2019’s Fabulous Five Popular Vote. She is set to direct her debut feature film after winning the Special Jury Prize at Tsutaya Creators’ Program 2019 and was selected to judge on the jury for D&AD 2020’s. She has been featured in numerous media including Elle Japon magazine's list of "most influential people of this era".
