「GON, THE LITTLE FOX」will be screened in LA.
“GON, THE LITTLE FOX”, a stop-motion animated film created by TECARAT, will be shown at Landmark's Nuart Theatre in LA from Sep. 20th to 26th.
Landmark's Nuart Theatre built in 1929 is an art house movie theater in Los Angeles and it has been a staple of the Los Angeles art house scene. It’s an honor to show our stop-motion animated film at this long-established theater.
“GON, THE LITTLE FOX” is a famous Japanese fairy tale about the life of a little fox called Gon. The director, Takeshi Yashiro added his original expression to it and created it as a stop-motion animation.
It took two years to complete from the planning stage and spent ten months for the shooting. One of the appealings of this film is the art sets which Takeshi really put passion into. He was trying to make the art set as an art piece.
You will be able to feel the traditional beauty of Japan from this film, so please watch it at the theater if you are nearby.
