We win GOLD at Straight8 shootout online #1.

At a film competition called "Straight8" which we need to shoot with a 8mm film, our work directed by Yuki Ishikawa(TOKYO) won GOLD.

"Straight8" is a film competition shooting by with a 8mm film called "Super 8". For this competition, there is no stated theme so participants can plan and direct freely. An unique point of this competition is that we had to submit a 8mm film without developing. Of course, we couldn't edit the film so we needed to make and provide the sound track blind.

Yuki Ishikawa belonging to TOKYO challenged this competition and all 15 submitted film including Yuki's were screened online on Dec. 6th. The winners were selected by votes of the companies which entered into this competition after the premiere screening and her film got GOLD.

This competition is also a charity event and the prize money will be donated to a organization or association which the winning entrants chose when they submitted their films. In our case, the prize will be donated to Japan Red Cross.
